TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Cancellations.
Hundred percent (100%) refund will occur when cancelation in writing is done in 90 days before commencement of a safari but this will depend on the penalties levied by hotels and lodges, 25% charge on cancellation within 60 days, 50% charge on cancellation within 30 days, 75% charge within 7 days and 100% charge if cancellation is within 48 hours before the start of the safari. The company has the right to deduct all the expenses incurred from the money paid. Gorilla permits are non – refundable.
Confirmation
Confirmation of booking should be done in at least 30 days to the start of the tour and 100% of the tour must be made within 14 working days prior to commencement of the low. Gorilla permits should be purchased at least 3 months in advance for better preparations.
Alteration of the Tour
The right to alter any route or arrangement or to cancel the planned tour is reserved by the company but after a vivid explanation. Also the right to decline, accept or retain any member of a tour at any time is reserved by the company for example, should you fail to join the tour after departure or leave prior to completion, no tour refund will be made.
Booking Transfer
In cases of uncontrolled circumstances, a transfer of the booking to another party under similar arrangements including the hotels and airlines will be acceptable. This can also be done with Gorilla permits.
Settlement of the charges
For safaris originating from Uganda, we advise to pay by dollar, cheque, traveler’scheque, or Uganda shillings at a current exchange rate. All Bank charges are to be met by the party paying in, the details about where to pay from, will be availed to you after confirming your trip
Transport.
The mode of transport will greatly depend on the size of the group and the route to be taken. A team of well-trained foreign language speaking guides is available.
Travelers Insurance.
We advise you to buy a travel insurance in advance but local rescuing is available in case of any unlikely event of a medical emergency. While out in the bush at a cost sharing basis, within our area of operation. However the company plans to offer full insurance cover in future and it will pronounce its self when appropriate to do it.
Liabilities.
All bookings are accepted on conditions that the company and its agents act only as agent of the passengers in all matters relating to accommodation tours, transport among others exploring travel bureau will not be liable for any injury, delay, loss or damage in any manner whatsoever. The company has the right to employ sub-contractors to carry out all or part of the services agreed to be supplied. Apogee Safaris Limited’s liability to the passengers claimed in its own vehicles is according to respective laws of the country.
All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the court of law of the country in which the cause of action arises. Finally whilst every care is taken, Apogee Safaris Limited will not be responsible for loss or damage of baggage. Although all that can happen because its human, and all of us cannot perform beyond God’s plan, Apogee Safaris Limited’s, will work tirelessly to minimize such misfortunes/ occurrence in order to secure maximum satisfaction with us.
