BRIEF INTRODUCTION
Kampala is a Cosmopolitan city that originated from the present day old Kampala hill. The city took a unique urbanization path from just a Kingdom hunting ground to current status as the Capital City of Uganda. Originally the hill was much dominated by the “Impalas” an antelope species and offered an excellent hunting ground for the Kabaka (King) of Buganda. In this regard, Baganda referred this hill to as “Akasozi ke Empala “literary meaning “The Hill of Impalas”. Hence shortened to K‟empala and finally Kampala. Sir Richard Burton described Kampala as a settlement which is not less than a day’s journey in length.
Being situated within the heart of the Buganda Kingdom, it has developed greatly within a basket of very many urban tourist sites. Its historical background hinges its uniqueness to a lot of heritage sites including Kasubi tombs, a UNESCO site. Kampala is now on almost 21 hills and offers a variety of interesting sites which include but not limited to; Old Kampala area, Lubaga Cathedral, Namirembe church, Kabaka’s Lake, the City Centre, Makerere University, Bahai temple, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, National Theatre, Uganda museum , old Kampala Mosque. Bulange house, the Kabaka’s palace among others. This city tour also takes you through the old suburbs like Katwe, Namuwongo, Kasubi and the busy old taxi park in the city center. Kampalalians are generally friendly, though like in any other city, you need to be cautious while in its out skirts. For food cuisines, Music and night life experiences, Kampala is the best in East and Central Africa.
SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE
Day 1: Kamala City & Heritage Tour
After breakfast depending on where you slept, we shall drive through Katwe and Kibuye to Mengo palace and Bulange House. A site guide will take us through a lot of history regarding these two important Buganda Kingdom Buildings. Thereafter proceed to the Rubaga cathedral via the Kabaka’s lake. After like one and half hours, we shall continue to Namirrembe church for a brief tour of this great protestant Church in Uganda. Thereafter, we shall Slope down to Old kamala Mosques for a detailed understanding of the Islamic religion.
After lunch visit the Kasubi tombs and thereafter proceed to Uganda Museum. After here, pass through Ntinda and other interesting places, until you reach the Uganda Marty’s Shrine in Namugongo. Where time permits we shall briefly visit the Bahai Temple (Bahai Temple is the largest Bahai Temple in Africa) on our way to Namugongo Late in the evening drive back to the hotel.

ENTEBBE CITY EXCURSION – (1 DAY)

BRIEF INTRODUCTION
This great itinerary, takes you through Uganda’s first developed Town/City. Entebbe city a peninsula located on the shore of Lake Victoria about 35-40 kilometers From Kamala city center. Historically, it used to serve as the administrative capital of Uganda before and after independence. The Name Entebbe name comes from 19th-century Baganda chief's "seats" ('entebe Za Mugula'). It started as a British colonial administrative center in 1893 and declared Uganda's first town and capital by Sir Gerald Portal. The city witnessed rapid development after the arrival of arrival of the railway linking to Lake Victoria and later the establishment of its international airport in 1951, making it a vital transport hub basing on the original explorer routes from Sese Islands in Lake Victoria.
Currently Entebbe host some of Uganda’s Administrative offices including the presidents Main home (state house). It’s also famous for being the site of Uganda's only international airport. Entebbe provides an attractive introduction to Uganda through its colonial background and current wildlife attachment. Entebbe is well planned and one of the safest cities/towns to sleep in while in Uganda. It’s less congested and has no noise like the busy Kampala capital city. The discotheques and bars eject less noise to the outsiders. While in Entebbe, a visit to the botanical gardens is highly recommended. This offers a great introduction to Uganda's birdlife, as well as glimpses of a couple of monkey species and plenty of tree squirrels, and is a very picturesque and tranquil place to enjoy a stroll and while away a few hours.
SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE
At 8:00Am, after morning breakfast, do a brief Entebbe city tour and thereafter proceed to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Thereafter, with a boat, we shall proceed to Uganda chimpanzee sanctuary 23km off shore from Entebbe on Lake Victoria for chimpanzee viewing. Also expect to come across over 154 bird species recorded on the island as well as hippos, otters, monitor lizards among others.
After Lunch, we shall cruise back to the Entebbe peninsular and then visit the “Entebbe Za Mugula” where the name Entebbe is derived from. We shall also briefly visit the Kigunga Church thereafter, we shall finish up the day with Entebbe Botanical gardens.

JINJA CITY ADVENTURE 3 DAYS SAFARI –(3Days)

BRIEF INTRODUCTION
This three Days trip takes you to Jinja City and its environs. Uganda. Jinja a highly respected as Uganda’s number one adventure city, is situated in the Eastern part of Uganda about 80km from Kampala. It’s the business capital of Busoga Kingdom separated by the world’s longest river the Nile, from Buganda Kingdom. Nestled on the northern shores of Lake Victoria, Jinja combines a rich colonial history, natural beauty, and thrilling modern attractions that make it one of the most unforgettable destinations in Uganda and beyond. The name “Jinja” is derived from the local Lusoga and Luganda languages, meaning “rock” in reference to the spiritual rocky outcrops that once dominated the Nile’s source area. Jinja’s modern history dates back during the British colonial period in the early 20th century and industrial and transport hub which was further energized by the completion of the Owen Falls Dam in 1954.
On the way to this Nyege Nyege Festival destination, you will pass through Mabira Forest one of the biggest Natural forests in Uganda and East Africa. The enroute experience of travelling through road side communities in traditional setting, sandwiched with numerous interesting road side developments, make this trip interesting and enjoyable from the start to the end. Jinja is naturally fun and requires people who enjoys fun. Jinja city transformed from an industrial hub to an eco-adventure paradise in the late 1990s and in early 2000s, as a new tourism economic frontier now offering a range of interesting activities which include but not limited to. Zip lining, Bungee Jumping, Quad Biking, white water Rafting, Tubing boat cruise at the source of the Nile and a city tour. We will pay a visit to some of the exciting sites in Jinja as well as participating in key activities. Accommodation in Jinja varies from lowest budget friend to high end. We shall sleep in a budget accommodation facility accessibly located to major tourist activities within the city.
SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE
Day 1. Departure from Kampala to Jinja
Early in the morning we shall leave for Jinja Jinja in the east via Mukono Jinja Highway. En route, we shall branch off to Ssezibwa falls cultural site, and then after a short Breakfast, we shall continue and make another stopover in Mabira forest at the famous Griffin camp for the zip lining adventure. Thereafter, we shall then proceed to Jinja reaching the hotel or our accommodation facility during Lunch time. After lunch and relaxation, we shall then proceed to Bujagali for the Quad Biking adventure. Thereafter, return to the hotel for relaxation, Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2. Jinja (Tubing the Nile, White Water Rafting (Grade 4 to 5] & Bungee Jumping].
Early in the morning after a quick breakfast, embark on an adventure Journey starting with Tubing the Nile as an appetizer for the full day of water activities. Thereafter, days highlight (water rafting], while enjoying white water rafting, we shall go through some of the strongest rapids on river Nile throughout. Then in the evening, we shall return to the accommodation for a relaxed night life.
Day 3. Bungee Jumping, Source of the Nile and Return to Kampala
After morning for breakfast, go for Bungee Jumping and thereafter visit the source of the Nile, take a boat cruise to point zero of the world’s longest and after lunch briefly tour Jinja city before returning to Kampala through Kayunga, Mukono. Where time permits, we shall shortly visit the Karagala falls cultural site before having a relaxed return trip to Kampala. We expect to reach a little bit late and after Dinner we have a taste of Kampala and night life (optional].
