WELCOME TO RWANDA

‘LAND OF A THOUSAND HILLS’,

Rwanda is a landlocked East African country with a green, mountainous landscape. Its renowned Volcanoes National Park is home to mountain Gorillas and golden monkeys. The park encompasses 4,507m-tall Mt. Karisimbi and 4 other forested volcanoes. In the southwest is Nyungwe National Park, with ancient Montane rainforest that’s a habitat for chimpanzees and other primates  Rwanda is making the headlines again, with the devastating genocide behind it, this small, landlocked nation has emerged as one of Africa’s most exciting destinations.

A tangible sense of optimism resonates from its towns, cities and colourful villages, which welcome foreign visitors with wide smiles and open arms. The transformation of this country has been remarkable. Trekking to see these endangered primates is the main attraction in Rwanda, where the famous zoologist, Dian Fossey, studied the great apes and inspired the Hollywood film Gorillas in the Mist. If well programmed, we arrange a fascinating tour to include Rwanda’s new product. “Kwita Izina”.
