Itinerary 1: GORILLA TRACKING – RWANDA Code: ASL/RW01
Introduction
This is an alternative to Gorilla tracking in Uganda. This is designed to increase-the chances of viewing these human related jungle residents by our clients. Most especially when gorilla tracking in Uganda becomes a little bit complicated, may be due to late bookings by the intending trackers.
Day 1
We shall take the western route via Masaka and a stopover at the equator. Then after we shall proceed, Lunch enroute. Drive through Kisoro enter Rwanda through Bunagana Boarder: Dinner and overnight in Ruhengyeri.
Day II Gorilla tracking day
After morning breakfast and briefing by the ranger guides, we go for Gorilla tracking and this is part of the Virunga Conservation Area (VCA). A lot of experience is expect while here, the Gorillas are well habituated and closer range view in much expected. After this wonderful time of fun with the gentle giants in the jungle, we shall drive to the lodge for an overnight.
Day III
Very early in the morning, drive to Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. We shall pass through a range of natural beautiful sceneries, and a visit to Gisozi Memorable site. Lunch in the city centre before setting off to Kampala via Katuna boarder. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi over land camp.
Day IV
After breakfast, a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyo will be a rewarding activity on this Uganda’s deepest lake. While sailing on this lave dammed lake, a lot of bird’s species will be encountered before our fun day entertainment by the pygmies on the lake side. Then we shall ride back and drive to Kampala, Lunch enrotue expect to reach Kampala late in the evening

Please take note that, Gorilla tracking is an adventure activity that is most likely to take you through challenging experiences, you need to be physically fit, if you are to enjoy it. The minimum tracking age is 15 years and you should not be suffering from a communicable disease like cough, flu among others. Seek advice before please.
