GORILLA TRACKING A /BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK -3 DAYS

Day 1: Departure time 07:30 hrs
Early morning meeting and greeting at the hotel, then after, travel through the west using Masaka road and a stopover at the equato00r (Kayabwe) then drive through savanna grasslands passing through lake Mburo national park while seeing a lot of Banana (Matoke) plantations as we approach the destination. Lunch in Mbarara town. Along the way expect to see interesting communities with their herds of long curved horns as you travel through the Kigezi high lands (Switzerland of Africa), view the terraced farm lands and reach the lodge in the evening dinner and over-night.
Day 2: The day starts after an early briefing by ranger guides and apart from gorillas, expect to come across other wildlife species including mammals, endemic birds species insects, vegetation plus a lot of adventure. What makes this day special is “an awesome experience these gentle giant endangered apes (Gorillas) at a close range. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. (Whole day tracking)
Day 3: After breakfast, visit the community surrounding societies at Buhoma for a social interaction before setting off for Kampala. Lunch in Mbarara town and a stopover at Mbambire drum makes for soveniour shopping, reaching Kampala in the evening.
Please note that, a gorilla permit is bought at 800US dollar / pay and at least book 3 months in advance. But the earlier the better and the possession of this permit, is not a guarantee for quality of the activity or that the gorillas will be seen, the maximum time allowed with the gorillas will not normally exceed one hour. The group number is 8 pax. Also we strongly recommend a rain gear, long sleeved shirts and a pair of trousers, good jungle boots, and leather gloves, insect repellent, a camera and video for a safe and memorable activity.

Brief Introduction
This is an alternative to Gorilla tracking in Mghahinga N.P that we will take us through the same experience out in a nearby park estimated to be having over 45 mountain gorillas with a newest habituated group at Nkuringo. It also offers an exciting half day hike and a challenging full day climb to Mt Muhavura or Mt Mgahinga and the breath taking Sabinyo Gorge. Accommodation is near the park headquarters and the same route is used to Kampala.

Suggested Activities Schedule
Day 1: Early morning drive to Bwindi Impenetrable/Mghahinga NP via Mbarara expect to drive through L. Mburo N.P. and we shall reach late evening at the accommodation.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking and possible community visit incase time permits (overnight Stay either in Kisoro or Kabale/Lake Bunyonyi.
Day3: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, do a day game drive in Ishasha sector, later roceed to Katunguru for an evening boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
Day 4: After an early morning game drive, proceed to Kibale N.P for afternoon Chimpanzee Tracking. Thereafter, a Bigodi Swamp walk (In case Time permits). Overnight stay in Kibale.
Day 5; After Breakfast, drive to Fort Portal Tourist City, visit the Amabeera Ga Nyina Mwiru caves and after Lunch proceed to Kampala city (where time permits, we shall visit Tanda Pits-Archeological site on way back)
